if someone gives you, your IP this does not mean that IP belongs to you, even if it does a IP belongs to your carrier and isn't your exact 1 to 1 house but instead a nearby region or country, so your IP might still say North West but does not have cover your exact house, this is low-level larping

if someone uses Linux, this does not mean they know what their doing, Linux is more complex and sophisticated then Windows or MacOS and does have the power and tools to hack but this alone does not mean the person has the capability to do any harm towards you and this is once again a larper

if somebody claims they can DDOS you off the internet there's a few things you might want to know, to DDOS a user you usually need to DDOS their PUBLIC IP which if it belongs to their carrier is difficult on a simple laptop, for a actual DDOS to happen they use botnets that need more power then your internet speed or advanced spoofed IPs which a larper cannot do

you shared your face? and now somebody repeated your name back to you? this does not mean this person can hack, popular tools such as TimEyes can take your face and get name, age and family members from Facebook,Instagram,etc, them saying your full name out-loud from Linkedin doesnt mean they have your card details, and trying to blackmail you over that, is complete bs, though this is more advanced and is medium-level larping

A real hacker wont use the phrase hacking as they're to cool to use it, and they usually don't go around screaming i can hack so finding a real hacker in the wild is hard

if somebody reads your ISP out, it is incredible just how easy it is to get a ISP, from your IP your ISP is included as your IP contains information about ISP, assuming your PUBLIC IP is not private, using basic tools such as whatismyipaddress you can get all this info, this is low level larping
